Robert Felice, President and Founder of Sterling Hotels and Resorts
Robert Felice, President and founder of Sterling Hotels & Resorts is a 38-year veteran of the hotel industry. He has worked with several national hotel franchises, along with chain-owned hotels, and independent properties. Mr. Felice’s experience in the hotel business covers all positions on the property level, as well as Condominium and Time-Share management. Mr. Felice has planned and opened new properties, in addition to having extensive experience in renovating hotels. He has operated Boutique Hotel Rental Programs, and up to 500 room properties with multiple food/beverage outlets, and large banquet facilities.

Distressed hotels under his management direction have seen its net operating profit increase by as much as 25%. Mr. Felice knows the importance of maximizing the position of each hotel for its own market.

Franchises such as Hilton and Ramada have awarded his performance with Hilton of the year award and gold key/ President’s Award status. Mr. Felice became one of the youngest Innkeepers for Holiday Inn at the age of 19. He has been president of many hotel Associations and Chamber of Commerce’s. He also holds an active Florida Real Estate Brokers License/ CAM/ CHA.

Alan E. Jakuboski - V.P. of Business Development

Mr. Jakuboski joined Sterling Hotels & Resorts, Inc. on July 1, 2009 as Regional V.P. of Business Development. Mr. Jakuboski is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey, and will be responsible for spearheading the three new business components for Sterling Hotels & Resorts, Inc. based in Palm Beach, Florida: Receivership, Franchise Services, and Collections divisions.

Mr. Jakuboski has an extensive background in Credit/Collection Consulting; Debt Management and Creditor/Debtor Settlements with Fortune 500 companies including many in the Hospitality Industry. He has a strong network contacts and leads in various channel markets for business development. Mr. Jakuboski previous work experience includes ADP payroll services, and tasks management positions with Host Services, Holiday Inns in Saddlebrook and Paramus, NJ. He has also maintained an ownership position with a national conference call center. Mr. Jakuboski will handle all new business relations for the three new sectors of Sterling's operation.

 

Murray Sharan - Director of Operations

With 25 years of hospitality management, Mr. Sharan has consistently improved the bottom line of clients operations, with his "hands on" management style, and innovative computerized control systems.

Highlights of Mr. Sharans comprehensive career include directing operations for Sunnycroft Equestrian Center in NY, the Hollywood Beach Fla. Hilton,the Radisson Hotel, Ashville, N.C., and currently operates all properties for Sterling Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Sharan is a graduate of City College of New York, with a degree in Engineering, and is a Certified Hotel Administrator. He has served as the president of Hiltons of Florida. Mr Sharan also holds positions on the
boards of directors of many associations, and civic organizations.

 

 

Dana Johnson - Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager

Dana Johnson brings to the Senior Management team over 22 years of experience in the hotel hospitality industry. Dana’s broad base experience includes Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Opening Task Force Manager for Marriott, Intercontinental, Choice, Cendant, Wyndham, Best Western and Hilton Brands.

As Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager Dana’s direct responsibilities include, but not limited to, assistance in the acquisition of new hotels, and preparation of the Annual Marketing Plans, Sales Budgets, and monthly monitoring of such for assigned hotels. For specific assigned properties she is actively involved in the hiring, training, and mentoring of the sales teams. Beyond this scope of responsibility, Dana assists the President and the Director of Development in evaluating prospective hotels and analyzing their markets and Performa’s in the sales arena.
